Hire a Piper
If you wish we can even organise a piper for your big day, Plus you will be helping a good cause - Peter donates his entire fee to the charity AtaxiaUK.
Peter Case has been playing the bagpipes since 1962, and as a result is very experienced and professional.
Peter is very flexible and can do whatever you want on the day, although here is a typical example of what a wedding day service from Peter would entail:
Typically, he would play for the guests arriving from 30 minutes before the wedding ceremony. He would also play for the bridesmaids car arriving and for the arrival of the bride and her father (assuming the bride was not already in the hotel getting prepared). If you wish, he can play the bride down the aisle and the bride and groom back out after the ceremony. Normally, he would not play during the taking of photographs, because photographers prefer not to have to constantly shout instructions to the wedding party. However, it is your wedding and you can decide whatever you wish. It is also common these days for the piper to play in the background during the lineup as the guests are greeted by the wedding party then to play the other guests to the top table, before finally playing the bride and groom to their seats.
However, there can be a delay of several hours between the end of the wedding ceremony and start of the meal, so this would have a bearing on the cost.
Having said that his costs are extremely competitive and he has considerable experience in playing at weddings and other functions and can be relied upon to exceed your expectations.
If there are any specific tunes that you would like played, for instance for the bride's arrival or walking down the aisle, this can be agreed in advance.
As I said previously, all the money he earns from playing at weddings etc., he donates to charity - Ataxia UK. His fund raising has resulted in more than £1,000 each year over the last 5 years being donated to this charity.

Dear Clients, Customers & Visitors.
Due to increased demands from my day job, I have taken the rather difficult decision for the entirity of 2010 to cease taking new events for this year. Working 6 days a week 9-5 is difficult enough, when you add on top of that working as a DJ until the small hours of the morning it can be quite detrimental to your health & family life.
I will be honouring all my weddings currently booked for this year, and will be treating them all with the same care and attention that I have always treated them with.
Rest assured Brides & Grooms I am here for you 24 hours a day, as is my online planning suite.
I am now taking advanced bookings for weddings in 2011 & Beyond, please use our Availability checker to check your date.
I am still contactable by all the methods on the left hand side of the site,
Yours
Grahame Case
